You can increase the size of an SAP trace file via parameter rstr/max_filesize_MB in transaction code RZ11. The parameter is dynamically switchable which mean the changes will take an immediately effect but the value will revert back to default after a restart is issued. You may increase the value in order to capture more logs into a one file.
- Execute transaction code RZ11.
- Executing the parameter rstr/max_filesize_MB and click on Change Value.
- Put the New value and save.
You can also apply the changes on all application servers by tick on the Switch on all servers. The size will be in MB.
